Cheerful Cat Villager Pointing the Way in Animal Crossing
Coloring guide
Front and center on this Animal Crossing page is a happy cat with one arm stretched out to the side, as if showing someone which way to go. The other hand sits on its hip. It has tall pointed ears, big round black eyes, a small round nose and a wide open smile. Its checkered shirt has a grid pattern, and a striped tail curls up behind. No background is included, so kids can build their own world or keep it plain. Large shapes and bold lines suit younger children with chunky crayons. Warm orange or red fur with a bright blue or green shirt will make the checks pop. Download the free PDF whenever you need a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the big face, the hand, and the tail tip in cream, leaving the two big eye whites bright white.
- 2Fill the head top, both outer ears, the left arm, the tail, and the pants and legs with medium blue.
- 3Color the inside of both ears and the small nose in rose pink.
- 4Color the vest in grass green, using lime green along the top and bottom edges and pale yellow on the right side, and fill the right sleeve with teal blue.
- 5Add the open smile in coral red last, then go over any spots you missed.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of blue along the edges of the head and body for a bit of depth.
