Freestyle Swimming Child Between Lane Ropes

Coloring guide
One happy young swimmer fills this page, caught mid-stroke with an arm arcing over the head and a big open-mouthed smile. The child has on a snug swim cap and round goggles, and the other shoulder just shows below the water line. Splashes and droplets fly around the arm and chest, and wavy lines mark the pool water. Two lane ropes made of rounded floats cross the page, one behind the swimmer and one along the bottom. Large shapes and clear outlines keep it friendly for little hands. A red or purple swim cap would look great, with light blues for the water and splashes. Use this free printable for swim lessons, summer afternoons, or a sports-themed classroom. Add this to your Swimming coloring page collection, alongside Tennis and Volleyball.

- 3Color the lane floats bright red, with the top float near the cap in coral orange, and leave the small white highlights on each float.
- 4Paint the water splashes and waves with sky blue, and use pale blue for the lighter drops near the arm and right side.
- 5Color the goggle straps medium blue and the open mouth dark brown, with the lower lip in light red. Keep the goggle lens whites white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of blue in the water to show depth.
