A happy little crab with big eyes and raised claws scuttles across the sand, surrounded by a collection of shells. Wavy ocean lines run along the top of the page. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the top wave band sky blue, then fill the crab body and both claws with coral red, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Fill the large conch shell top with honey brown and its lower part and base with pale tan, then color the crab legs bright orange.
- 3Color the scallop shell with baby pink and lavender purple stripes, and the clam shell with turquoise, leaving small gaps for light.
- 4Paint the starfish bright orange with a golden yellow center, then fill the sand dollar with cream and color the pebbles in light gray, blue gray, pale tan, and golden yellow.
- 5Finish the spiral shell on the right with lavender purple bands and cream stripes, and add tangerine and pale gold touches to the crab's legs and shells.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker shade of each color along one side of the shells and the starfish to make them look rounder.
