Relaxed Crab Under the Beach Umbrella
Coloring guide
Nothing to do but kick back. This crab wears big round glasses and lounges in a folding beach chair with his claws on the armrests and a happy smile. A large striped umbrella shades him, gentle waves roll in behind, and low hills sit in the distance. On the right, a little round side table holds a tall drink with a straw and a slice of citrus on the rim. Grass tufts, small sand dots and one seashell in the corner finish off the shore. There's lots of open space here for small hands, from the umbrella panels to the chair slats. Coral red for the crab, sunny yellow for the lemonade and alternating blue and white on the umbrella would make a nice summery page. This fits right in with our Crab coloring pages — see also Farm Animals and Chameleon.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the umbrella panels alternating bright blue and golden yellow, and the umbrella tip golden yellow.
- 2Fill the crab's body, both claws and arms with coral red, leaving the glasses lenses and eye whites white.
- 3Color the chair frame and wooden poles tan wood, then the chair stripes in bright blue and cream white.
- 4Color the sea water bright blue with white wave lines, the distant hill sea green, and keep the sand and sky white.
- 5Fill the drink with pale butter and golden yellow, color the side table top light blue and its shelf soft yellow, and make the seashell light pink.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the crab's claws and under the umbrella for depth.
