Crab Raising Claws Beside a Little Fish

Coloring guide
On a sandy seabed, a crab holds both claws high, its big round eyes sparkling and its mouth open in a wide smile. A small striped fish swims past overhead, and bubbles of different sizes float up through the water. Tall wavy seaweed fills both sides of the page, while the bottom corners hold coral shapes and a few smooth pebbles, with little dots scattered on the sand. Lines are bold and clean, and the shapes are big enough that small hands won't get frustrated. Orange or red works well for the shell and claws, and soft green seaweed helps the crab stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the crab's body and the two eyes' surroundings in peach, leaving the big eye whites clean.
- 2Fill the crab's claws, arms, and all the legs with coral orange, working from the body outward.
- 3Color the sand ground at the bottom in golden yellow, and leave the small pebbles light gray.
- 4Add the seaweed in lime green and grass green, and the purple corals on the left and right in violet purple.
- 5Color the fish with lemon yellow for the body and bright blue for the tail and fins, then use light blue for the bubbles. Optional: add a little darker shading under the claws and the fish for depth.
