On the sandy seafloor sits a big, grinning crab with wide round eyes, an open mouth and both claws open in front. Up above, a friendly sea turtle swims by a school of four round striped fish, and a little seahorse floats on the right. Bubbles drift up through tall wavy seaweed, and branching coral fills the background on both sides. Down in the sand there's also a scallop shell, a starfish, tube sponges and a few smaller shells. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sand at the bottom and sides in pale yellow, leaving the small speckles as they are.
- 2Color the crab's body, arms, and big claws in coral red, keeping the pale spots on its shell and the eye whites white.
- 3Fill the turtle's shell in leaf green and its head and flippers in bright lime, leaving the spots on the flippers white.
- 4Color the striped fish in golden yellow with sky blue stripes, and paint the seahorse in amber orange.
- 5Add the coral and seaweed in leaf green, salmon pink, and rose pink, then the purple tubes, gray rocks, and starfish in tangerine orange.
- 6Optional: Add a light shadow to the sand with a little extra pale yellow, and leave the background bubbles and white coral untouched for a bright, airy look.
