This cheerful little fairy is perched on the rim of a big tulip blossom, holding a star-tipped magic wand up high while smiling right at you. Her hair is in a bun with a small flower on top, and she has big sparkly eyes, puffy sleeves, a petal skirt, and two large wings with simple vein lines behind her. Below her, the tulip has rounded petals, a thick stem, and two wide leaves curving out at the bottom. With a plain white background and bold, clean outlines, there's lots of room for young kids using chunky crayons or markers. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tulip leaves and stem using grass green, leaving the leaf vein lines uncolored.
- 2Fill the tulip bloom and its petals with rose pink, then add the back petals behind the fairy.
- 3Color the wings with sky blue, keeping the wing edge lines dark and the highlight curves white.
- 4Add the fairy's dress in soft purple and bubblegum pink, then fill the face, arms, legs, and chest with peach skin.
- 5Color the hair in warm brown and caramel tan, then add the yellow flower and star wand in golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Leave small white highlights on the eyes and star, and add a slightly darker shade along the tulip petals for depth.
