A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big yellow areas: color the wheelhouse, the cabin sides, and the deck panels with golden yellow, leaving the two round eye whites and the smiling face details white.
- 2Color the hull with muted mauve, then fill the lower hull front and the long stripe along the side with royal blue and navy blue for a bold, boat-like look.
- 3Use bright red for the hose pipes, the top band over the cabin, the beacon and the red water line at the bottom, and brick red for the hose couplings.
