Trick-or-Treat Flower Fairy With Star Wand

This cheerful little fairy has wavy hair and a flower crown, and she smiles from a grassy meadow. In one hand she holds a star-tipped magic wand, and in the other a drawstring treat bag covered in stars. Her outfit is a puff-sleeved dress with a petal-shaped skirt and little flower-topped flats, with big butterfly-style wings behind her. A crescent moon and a few stars hang overhead, and blooming flowers and grass tufts crowd around her feet. Small hands will enjoy the large shapes on the wings, skirt petals and bag, while older kids can tackle the tiny flowers and stars. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the face, neck, arms, and legs with peach skin, leaving the eye whites, smile teeth, and small highlights white.
- 2Fill the wavy hair and the flower crown leaves with caramel brown, and color the leaf on the crown leaf green.
- 3Color the outer wing edges with sky blue and the inner wing sections with pale blue, leaving the thin wing lines uncolored.
- 4Color the dress bodice and the front and side skirt petals with lavender purple, the puff sleeves with soft lilac, and the lower skirt petals and the handbag with baby pink.
- 5Color the wand star, the small stars in the sky, and the wand tip with golden yellow, and the star on the handbag with pale yellow; keep the flowers in the crown white.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the bottom edges of the skirt petals and the wing tips for a bit of depth.
