A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rainbow: color the outer band bright red, the next band golden yellow, then lime green, and the inner bands sky blue, leaving the gaps between bands white.
- 2Fill the girl's dress with lemon yellow and her face, neck, arms, hands, legs and ears with peach skin, leaving the eye whites, cheek highlight and sock areas white.
- 3Color the hair and both hair buns chocolate brown, keeping the white headband stripe showing above her ears.
- 4Add rose pink to her sleeves, neckline, shoes and tongue, leaving the shoe soles and straps white.
- 5Color the grass and bushes leaf green and the flower leaves leaf green, then add lime green to the flower stems and the grass tufts.
- 6Finish the flower centers in lemon yellow and leave the petals, clouds and background hills white. Optional: add a little darker shading under the bushes and along the dress folds for depth.
