Nella the Princess Knight Rides a Smiling Pony

Here is a happy girl with a long braid riding in the saddle of a grinning pony. She has a round helmet with studs and a tall feather, plus a tunic, boots and gloves. She holds the reins while the pony steps forward with one hoof raised. The pony's mane flows, its tail swishes, and a bridle strap with a round medallion crosses its chest. You'll also find a puffy cloud overhead, three big-petaled flowers, and little grass tufts along the ground. Lines are bold and shapes are large, so preschoolers and early elementary kids can practice pencil control here. Red or sunny yellow would look great on the feather, chestnut brown on the pony, and pink and purple on the flowers. The PDF is free if you need a page for the classroom or a weekend craft.
