This one is a golf ball with a big open smile and wide, sparkly eyes, sitting on top of a tee. Two little curved eyebrows make it look friendly. The ball is covered in round dimples of different sizes. Underneath, the tee has a flared top and a long narrow stem, with spiky tufts of grass on both sides and around the base. Bold outlines and large dimples mean small hands can color without much struggle, so it suits preschoolers and early elementary kids. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big golf ball body in tomato red, working around the eyes so the eye whites stay bright white.
- 2Fill every round spot on the ball with golden yellow, including the ones near the edges and under the smile.
- 3Color the top ring of the tee in leafy green and the long tee stem in lime green.
- 4Color the open smile in dark crimson and add soft pink to the tongue inside it.
- 5Leave the eye whites and the small shine dots white, and keep the black pupils and grass outlines as they are.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of darker tomato red along one side of the ball to give it a little shadow.
