Wearing a flat cap, a cheerful gorilla sits on a round stool at a grand piano and smiles right at you, both hands resting on the keys. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the big gorilla body, arms, legs and head in dark brown, leaving the face area for later.
- 2Fill the gorilla face and hands with peach skin, keeping the eye whites and the tiny highlights on the piano keys white.
- 3Color the wooden floor, the piano body and the piano legs in warm tan and rust red, and the stool legs in caramel brown.
- 4Add the bright red cap and the forest green stool seat, then color the curtains and the curtain tiebacks in golden yellow.
- 5Finish the piano pedals in chestnut brown and the gorilla's toes in golden yellow, leaving the music notes and the background wall white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown shading along the gorilla's fur edges and a touch of extra rust red under the piano lid for depth.
