Thumbs Up from Pilot Beside Smiling Helicopter
Coloring guide
Parked on a helipad marked with a large H, a cheerful cartoon helicopter with big round eyes and a wide open smile sits next to a young pilot giving a thumbs up. The pilot has a flight helmet with a headset microphone, plus a zippered flight suit with chest pockets, a belt and sturdy boots. An airport control tower stands on the right, a windsock on a tall pole is on the left, and a few small puffy bushes line the horizon. The helicopter has a spinning three-blade rotor, a side window and a small tail rotor. Bold, clean outlines and roomy shapes make this free printable easy for little hands. Make the helicopter bright red and the helipad gray, then add orange stripes on the windsock so it stands out in the sky. - 2Color the helicopter body with cherry red, the top dome and rotor cap with golden yellow, and the yellow stripe along the body.
- 3Fill the rotor blades with ocean blue, then color the windshield and side windows with pale blue, leaving the eye whites white.
- 4Paint the pilot's suit orange, face and hands peach, boots charcoal black, and the belt light gray, keeping the helmet top and side white.
- 5Add leaf green to the bushes, orange to the windsock stripe, and use the tower windows in ocean blue and sky blue. Color the smile dusty mauve and tongue bubblegum pink.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes on the lower body and helipad for a little depth.
