Grinning Halloween Pumpkin with Curly Stem and Leaves

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of this page is a round jack-o'-lantern with a big curved smile, two triangle eyes, a little triangle nose and two square teeth along the bottom of its mouth. The tall stem ends in a spiral, and a leafy, veined leaf tucks in on each side. You'll also find a small tuft of grass in both bottom corners. Ridges run down the pumpkin's body, so you can color it one section at a time, and the bold outlines are good for younger kids with chunky crayons. Orange works well for the pumpkin and green for the stem and leaves. A sunny yellow inside the eyes and mouth makes it look like a candle is glowing in there. It's free to print or download. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the whole pumpkin body in pumpkin orange, including the forehead and both rounded sides.
- 2Fill the curly stem and both leaves with leafy green, following the curl at the top.
- 3Color the two triangle eyes, the triangle nose and the grinning mouth in golden yellow, keeping the teeth white.
- 4Leave the background and the grass at the bottom white, so the pumpkin stands out.
- 5Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker orange on the sides of the pumpkin to suggest shadow.
