Three Jellyfish and a Little Submarine for Octonauts Fans

Three happy jellyfish float through the water, one big one in the middle and a smaller one on each side. Every jellyfish has a spotted bell, a smiling face, and long wavy tentacles that are fun to color. In the lower right, a small round submarine with a periscope, a porthole, and a propeller fin carries a smiling little character peeking through the glass. Thin lines show its light beam aimed at the jellies. Bubbles of different sizes drift around the page, and wavy seaweed, a branching coral, and a sandy sea floor run along the bottom. Younger kids can enjoy the large shapes while older ones can work on the tentacles. Try soft purples and pinks for the bells with bright yellow spots, and a sunny orange submarine so it stands out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big jellyfish bell and its long tentacles in lavender, and color the two smaller jellyfish tentacles in baby pink and sky blue.
- 2Fill the yellow submarine body with bright yellow, then add the top part in marigold and the fin in cherry red.
- 3Color the seaweed and the small bubbles with grass green and sky blue, and the orange coral with tangerine.
- 4Add the pink tentacles on the left jellyfish and the soft lilac edges on the big bell.
- 5Color the submarine window in pale yellow, the pilot head in pale blue, and the rings and bands in tangerine.
- 6Leave the tentacle streaks, bubble shines, coral highlights and sandy bottom white. Optional: add a little darker shade along one side of each tentacle.
