Cherry-Topped Kawaii Cupcake with Sprinkles
Coloring guide
Front and center sits a cupcake with a big open smile, sparkly lashed eyes and round blushing cheeks. Frosting swirls up above its face, dotted with short sprinkle dashes, and a shiny cherry with a long curved stem sits on the very top. The ribbed wrapper underneath has simple vertical stripes. With no background, kids have lots of space to add their own ideas. Thick outlines and large open areas work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids with chunky crayons or markers. You could go with pink frosting, rainbow sprinkles and a bright red cherry, then alternate yellow and light blue stripes on the wrapper. The PDF is free to print and needs no sign-up. - 1Color the whole frosting, including the top swirls and the bottom part, with baby pink, leaving the eye shine spots white.
- 2Fill the cupcake liner with alternating sky blue and lemon yellow stripes.
- 3Color the cherry cherry red, keep its small shine white, and color the stem leaf green.
- 4Color the cheeks rose pink, fill the open mouth with maroon, and add a salmon tongue at the bottom.
- 5Add the sprinkles on the frosting using leaf green, sky blue, lemon yellow and teal, and keep the eye whites white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker pink shading along the lower edge of the frosting to make it look rounder.
