Sushi Friends on a Plate, a Kawaii Nigiri and Maki Set
Coloring guide
Three smiling sushi pieces share a single round plate. A nigiri sits at the back with a wide seaweed band wrapped around its fish topping. A second nigiri in front has fine curved lines on the fish slice and a bumpy rice base. On the right, a round maki roll has a swirl of filling in its center. Every piece has dot eyes, rosy cheeks and a happy open mouth. Five outlined hearts float over the food, and a pair of chopsticks rests in the bottom corner. Big shapes and clean lines work for younger kids with crayons, and older kids can have fun with the small details. Pinks and oranges suit the fish, gray-green fits the seaweed, and bright red is great for the hearts. It's a free PDF, so feel free to keep a few spare copies. Fans of Kawaii coloring pages often like Aesthetic and Romero Britto style as well.

- 2Color the seaweed band on the top nigiri and the dark side of the maki roll with deep forest green.
- 3Color the plate and its rim with tan wood, and the wooden base underneath with chestnut brown.
- 4Fill the salmon on the front nigiri and the salmon slices inside the maki with salmon orange, keeping the rice white.
- 5Color the hearts with coral red, the little cheeks with pink blush, and the avocado slice with lime green, then add the chopsticks in light caramel.
- 6Optional: add a little sage gray shading along the seaweed and a deeper coral red on the mouths to make the faces pop.
