Smiling Kite, Puffy Cloud and Autumn Leaves
Coloring guide
A happy diamond-shaped kite with a face, big eyes and a wide smile floats at the top left, with ribbons streaming from its top and a bow near the bottom. Its long tail twists down the page with small bow ties spaced along it. Around the kite you will find a horse chestnut leaf with seven leaflets, several heart-shaped leaves, and two oak-style leaves with wavy edges. At the bottom, a round pumpkin with curved ridges sits beside a curling vine with leaves, and a cheeky cloud with rosy cheeks puffs out a swirl of wind. This free page works well for a leaf-sorting activity. Kids can color each leaf shape a different fall shade, then match them to real leaves collected outside. The wide open spaces on the pumpkin and kite are easy for younger children, while the small bows on the tail are good fine-motor practice for older kids.
