Kitten on a Haunted House Porch Full of Cobwebs
Coloring guide
A fluffy kitten with big round eyes and a cheerful smile sits front and center on a wooden porch and looks straight out at you, its tail curling up on the right. Behind it, a candle glows in a hanging lantern on a curly bracket, and cobwebs stretch over the porch railing and the corner of the roof. On the right side there's an arched window and the wooden siding of the house. Soft tufts on the kitten's head and chest give little ones lots of room to practice. Warm oranges and yellows are good for the lantern flame, and a soft gray or classic black kitten lets those shiny eyes stand out. Print it free for classroom time or a rainy day. - 1Start with the big cat body and head in orange, leaving the eye whites, the sparkle highlights and the thin whisker gaps white.
- 2Color the wooden porch floor and the front boards in caramel brown, and the lower rail edge in light tan.
- 3Fill the house siding with buttery yellow and light sand, and the window panes and lantern glass in sky blue.
- 4Add the cream porch posts and railing, then the leaf green web-covered railing sections and the slate gray lantern and lamp bracket.
- 5Color the inner ears soft pink, the nose soft pink, and the candle flame bright yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange along the cat's shadow side and a few light sand cobweb lines for a spooky touch.
