Happy Mailbox Sending Hearts and Love Letters

Coloring guide
This cheerful mailbox stands on a post with a big open-mouthed smile and sparkly eyes. Its front door is swung open, showing three envelopes stacked inside, each sealed with a little heart. Three more hearts float up out of the opening, with short dashed lines to show them drifting away. The red-flag-style signal arm is raised on the side. At the bottom, three flowers with round centers and leafy stems grow from a tuft of grass beside the post. Shapes are large and clean, so little hands can color them without much fuss, and the mix of big and small spaces keeps beginners and older kids both busy. Red and pink hearts, a bright blue mailbox and yellow flower centers would be a fun combo. No sign-up needed to print this free page. Love this Hearts coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the mailbox body, arch, and flag in coral red, leaving the envelopes and eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the open mailbox door and the inside of the mailbox opening with brick red and maroon for depth.
- 3Color the wood post in wood brown and the grass ground in grass green.
- 4Paint the leaves in grass green, then the flower petals: soft pink on the right, golden yellow on the left, and lavender purple for the middle flower.
- 5Add the floating hearts in rose red and light pink, the smiling mouth in soft pink, and the hinge and flag rings in golden yellow.
- 6Leave the envelopes white and add small light pink and coral red hearts on them; finish the flower centers in tangerine orange and golden yellow. Optional: add a little darker shade along the edges of the mailbox for depth.
