Waving Mermaid With Bangs and Tiny Buck Teeth

A cheerful little mermaid with closed, smiling eyes and two tiny buck teeth waves one arm out to the side. Her long hair is cut in straight bangs that cover her forehead, then falls in wavy strands over her shoulders and swirls down around her body and tail. She wears a simple top with a scooped neckline and a V-shaped shell-style band at her waist. Her tail is covered in rounded scales of different sizes and ends in a split fin with curved lines. The hair has lots of thin lines and small dashes, so it makes a good space for practicing careful coloring. Try using two or three shades of one color for the hair, going darker along the long strands, and then pick a bright gradient for the scales so each row looks a little different.
