Smiling Monkey Hanging From a Tree Branch

A cheerful monkey hangs from a thick tree branch, gripping it with both hands while its legs dangle below. Its face has a big smile, a round nose, long eyelashes, and large round ears. A wide oval patch sits on its belly, and a long curly tail swings down near the bottom of the page. The tree trunk runs down the left side, and a bumpy line of leaves is drawn across the top and in the upper right corner. The shapes are big and the lines are clean, so this free printable works well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try brown for the fur, a lighter tan for the belly and face, and green for the leaves. Afterward, you could talk about how real monkeys use their hands and tails to climb.
