Smiling Monkey Hanging Upside Down From Tree Branch

A cheerful cartoon monkey hangs upside down from a thin branch near the top of the page. Its tail curls around the branch in a tight loop, one foot grips the branch, and one hand holds on beside it. The monkey's other hand reaches down and grabs a flat wooden plank near the bottom right. It has big round ears, wide eyes, and a happy open-mouth grin. A tree trunk with ragged, broken-looking bark runs down the left side, and a few big leaf shapes hang across the top edge. The lines are bold and the spaces are large, so this free printable works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the trunk and plank in different browns, then talk about why a monkey's tail and hands help it hang from branches.
