Smiling Octopus and Pufferfish Underwater Scene

Coloring guide
A friendly octopus with three oval spots on its head waves its curly arms on the left side of the page, while a round pufferfish with little spikes, big eyes and small fins floats near the top. Below them, a spiral seashell sits at the base of a few tall blades of seaweed. On the right, a pile of flat-topped rocks holds a cluster of tube-shaped sponges and a tall, feathery strand of seaweed with wavy edges. The lines are clean and the shapes are large, so younger kids can color them without much trouble. Try giving the pufferfish and octopus very different color schemes, then ask your child which parts of the pufferfish look spiky and which parts of the octopus look soft. It also works well as a free printable for a quick ocean lesson on how sea animals look different from one another.
