Treasure Chest Octopus, a Sea Animals (General) Printable

Coloring guide
A smiling little octopus peeks over the edge of an open wooden treasure chest piled with coins, a scallop shell and strings of beads, and a big jeweled pendant hangs down the front. Three striped fish swim above with small bubbles around them, while tall seaweed, bumpy coral and tube sponges frame the sides of the page. On the sandy seabed you'll spot scattered coins, a spiral seashell, a clam shell and a starfish with dotted arms. There's plenty here to keep young colorers busy, from the wood grain and metal bands on the chest to the round suckers on the tentacles. A bright purple or orange octopus looks great next to golden coins. Print or download this free page for a quick coloring break any time. Looking for more? - 1Start with the sandy seabed: fill the sand at the bottom and sides with sandy yellow, leaving the small pebbles and shells white.
- 2Color the treasure chest body and lid with chocolate brown, then use amber orange for the metal bands and corners.
- 3Fill the octopus with lavender purple, including all its tentacles, and leave the bright white eyes and spots uncolored.
- 4Add the fish: use tangerine orange and golden yellow for the big fish stripes, and bright lemon yellow for the small fish body and fin details.
- 5Color the coral in coral red and the seaweed and kelp in bright green and leaf green, then fill the gold coins in golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of each color along one side of the chest and octopus to make them pop.
