Strolling Santa Claus Carrying a Sack Full of Toys
Coloring guide
Santa strides through the snow with a big sack of toys over his shoulder, and a teddy bear wearing a bow tie peeks out of the top. Next to the bear you can spot a drum, a round ball and some stacked building blocks. He has a fluffy curly beard, a mustache, rosy round cheeks and a floppy hat with a fur brim. The fur-trimmed coat, wide belt with a big square buckle, mittens and chunky boots give kids lots of shapes to fill in. Little round snowflakes dot the white background. Lines are bold and spaces generous, so preschoolers and early elementary kids can use crayons or markers. Bright red suits the suit and hat, and a warm golden brown will help the teddy bear stand out from the other toys. Grab this free printable PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. - 2Color Santa's face with peach skin, and the teddy bear's head and body with warm brown.
- 3Fill the toys with leaf green for the beach ball and mittens, sky blue and royal blue for the gift boxes, and golden yellow for the drum top and buckle.
- 4Add charcoal black to the belt, boots and the bottom of the coat, and medium gray to the boot soles.
- 5Leave the beard, mustache, fur trims and pompom white, along with the background snowflakes.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of deep red on the sack and bright red on the coat to give them a little shading.
