Sea Turtle and Little Fish by the Coral, Reptiles Page

Coloring guide
A cheerful sea turtle with big round eyes and a wide smile glides through the water, front flippers stretched out as if it's flapping along. The shell has a simple pattern of large sections, while the head and flippers are covered in bubble-like spots that are fun to fill in. Four small striped fish swim nearby, and bubbles of all sizes float up the page. Along the bottom you'll find wavy seaweed, branching coral, tube-shaped sponges, a scallop shell, a starfish and a few rocks. Shapes are large and clear, so it's a good fit for kids just learning to stay inside the lines. Try soft greens and browns on the shell, and bright oranges and yellows on the fish so they stand out against blue water. You can print this one as a free PDF for home or school. Kids who like Reptiles coloring pages usually enjoy Snake and Birds too.

- light gray
- coral pink
- orange

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big shell plates: fill the center and lower shell plates in cream yellow, and the head and neck in the same soft cream yellow.
- 2Fill the upper shell plates and the edges around the shell in forest green and leaf green, leaving a little space between plates for contrast.
- 3Color the flippers in light green, then add darker forest green and leaf green spots and a lime green rim on the flipper edges.
- 4Add the fish in orange, tangerine orange, golden yellow and sky blue, and the seaweed in leaf green and olive green, with the bubbles in pale blue.
- 5Color the corals in coral pink, golden yellow, lavender purple and orange, the rocks in light gray, the seashell in coral pink and the starfish in tangerine orange.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along one side of the shell and flippers, and leave the small coral branch and the eye highlights white for a bright finish.
