Underwater Reef Garden With a Grinning Shark

Coloring guide
Right across the middle of this underwater scene swims a friendly shark with a row of little triangle teeth and a big round eye. The reef around it is packed with things to color. There's branching coral and tall fan-shaped coral on both sides, bumpy tube sponges on the left and anemone-like tufts along the bottom. Several small striped fish swim near the shark, and a few more hide in the coral on the right. Bubbles rise toward wavy water lines at the top, while a starfish and a scallop shell rest on the sandy floor. The big shark body is an easy place for little hands to begin, and the detailed coral is good for older kids with fine-tip pencils. Soft blue-gray on the shark and bright orange on the small fish keep them clear against the coral. Print it free and keep it ready for your coloring stash. Add this to your Shark coloring page collection, alongside Owl and Cow.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big shark body and fins in sky blue, leaving the eye, teeth and the light belly area white.
- 2Fill the coral branches on the left and right with salmon, orange and pink, and add the yellow tube sponges at the lower left.
- 3Color the sea anemones and rocks with gray, purple and leaf green, keeping the bubbles and tiny coral tips white.
- 4Add the small fish in orange, yellow, amber and olive green, and color the starfish in bright orange.
- 5Optional: Add a little lighter or darker shading with the same colors on the shark's body for a rounded, 3D look.
