Smiling Skeleton at the Xylophone with an Owl for Halloween

A grinning skeleton in a bow tie sits at a big wooden xylophone with a mallet in each hand, just about to start playing. A little round-eyed owl watches from a leafy branch on the right, and a crescent moon hangs in the upper left corner. Three pumpkins of different sizes rest on the ground beside the skeleton, with tufts of grass and rounded bushes behind them. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the moon with golden yellow and the three pumpkins with pumpkin orange, leaving the pumpkin stems and the lighter edges white.
- 2Fill the bushes on both sides and behind the skeleton with deep green, and color the leaves and stems of the branch in forest green.
- 3Color the xylophone bars in rainbow order: bright red, golden yellow, lime green, forest green, sky blue, ocean blue and lavender purple, then color the bench in wood brown and dark brown.
- 4Color the skeleton bow tie bright red and the owl's head and wings wood brown, with its chest in peach tan.
- 5Keep the skeleton's bones, skull and the eye whites, teeth and sky white, then finish the mallet heads in bright red.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the bottom of the pumpkins and bushes to make them pop.
