Birthday Party Snake With Cake, Balloons and Gifts
Coloring guide
Wearing a polka-dot party hat with a pom-pom on top, this cartoon snake has big sparkly eyes and a forked tongue sticking out. Large round spots cover its coiled body, and the tail curls up on the left. Four balloons drift behind it on wavy strings, with a bumpy hedge and grass tufts in the background. Up front sits a layered cake with scalloped frosting and four lit candles, plus three wrapped presents with bows, two on the left and one on the right. Big shapes and clear lines keep this free printable easy for little hands. Green for the snake with purple spots on the body and hat works well, and each balloon can get its own color for a party feel. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the snake's head and the top of its body with lime green, then fill the long coils and tail with leaf green.
- 2Fill the belly stripes and the lighter underside of the snake with butter yellow, and add lemon yellow spots along the coils, leaving the eye whites white.
- 3Color the balloons: the top left one red, the left one lemon yellow, the right one violet, and leave the top right balloon and the shine spots white.
- 4Paint the party hat with sky blue and add lemon yellow dots, then color its brim and pom-pom red.
- 5Color the gift boxes with sky blue, red, hot pink, violet, orange and golden yellow, and fill the cake with chocolate brown and cream frosting, adding light blue under the cake and colorful candles on top.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the snake's coils and inside the gift box shadows to make the drawing pop.
