Snake Sniffing a Tall Daisy Near a Butterfly

Rising out of tall grass, this cartoon snake flicks its tongue toward a big daisy on a long stem. Its round eyes glance up and to the side, and its mouth curls into a happy smile. Large round spots cover the body, and a striped belly runs down the curved neck as it coils across the bottom of the page. In the top left, a small butterfly flutters along a dotted path with a little loop. The daisy has one large leaf on its stem, and grass tufts fill the front. Bold outlines and roomy spaces work well for crayons or chunky markers. Yellow and orange spots, soft purple petals and a sky-blue butterfly would be pretty. Handy for classroom time or a rainy day.
