Three Cookie Friends and a Cold Glass of Milk

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• coral red
• golden tan
• warm brown
• sky blue
• pale blue
• pale blush
• light coral
• dusty peach

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the three stacked cookies with golden tan, leaving the small chip dots white.
2. 2Fill the plate with sky blue, then color the top and sides of the glass with pale blue, leaving the milk inside white.
3. 3Color the three table legs warm brown.
4. 4Fill most of the tablecloth squares with coral red, add light coral to a few squares, and leave some squares white; use dusty peach and pale blush for the lightest patches near the plate and glass.
5. 5Color the straw with coral red and light coral stripes, keeping the top stripe white.
6. 6Optional: add a little extra golden tan shading on the bottom edges of the cookies and a slightly darker coral red on the tablecloth shadows for depth.
