A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green areas: color the hills, grass, and bushes in leaf green and forest green, and the grass near the scarecrow in leaf green.
- 2Fill the train body, cab, and wheels with bright blue, and the cab roof with slate blue, leaving the steam cloud white.
- 3Color the pumpkins and the large pumpkin in orange, and the wagons in red, then add brown to the tree trunks and track ties.
- 4Color the smokestack and its top in charcoal, the chimney cap and sand dome in golden yellow, and the big round face in light gray with a blue gray rim.
- 5Fill the red front skirt and panels, and the scarecrow shirt in deep blue with brown patches. Color the trees with golden yellow on the left and orange on the right.
- 6Optional: Leave the smiley eyes and teeth white, and add a pale blue headlamp and window for a sparkly finish.
