Coloring guide
At the front of the classroom, a cheerful teacher with long wavy hair holds a book in one arm and points a piece of chalk at the chalkboard, where a big sun and a star are drawn. Four students sit at their desks with their backs partly turned, looking up at her. Two of them hold pencils over their notebooks, and each chair has a backpack hanging on it, one with a flower and one with a diamond shape. Behind the teacher are a globe, a bookshelf with books and a storage box, a trailing plant, a framed flower picture, a rainbow picture and a pennant banner. On the left you'll spot a curtained window and a potted plant. Sunny yellow suits the chalkboard sun, and bright pink is nice for the backpack flower. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the walls and the wall above the board with cream, and color the sky outside the window pale blue.
- 2Color the teacher's cardigan and sleeves lavender purple, her skirt royal blue, and leave her collar and the chalkboard white.
- 3Add the curtains and the pink sweaters in coral pink, then fill the desk tops with honey gold and the storage box with sky blue.
- 4Color all faces and hands peach skin, the boy's and left girl's hair chestnut brown, and the ponytail and sun, star and yellow sweater in golden yellow.
- 5Fill the hoodies and sleeves: bright blue for the front boy and his sleeves, leafy green for the boy on the left, and red for the bottom backpack and the book.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading to hair and hoodies in the same color for depth, and leave the notebook pages white.
