Front-Facing Tram Engine With Plank Lines and Big Smile

Coloring guide
A cheerful train engine faces straight toward you with a big friendly smile, round eyes glancing downward, and raised eyebrows. The face sits on a flat square panel in the middle of the cab. Around it you will find horizontal plank lines on both sides, two small rectangular windows near the top, and a round lamp above the face. The curved roof has a small dome and a couple of little fixtures on top. At the bottom are two solid black round buffers, a center coupling, and a row of vertical slats. The engine sits on two rails with wooden ties underneath. Kids can use the big black buffers as a starting point, then try wood browns for the planks and a bright color for the cab. This free page also works well for talking about what parts a train and its track are made of.
