Ice Skating Troll Gliding Past Snowy Pines
Coloring guide
Arms stretched wide and one leg kicked back, this tall-haired troll glides over the ice on white skates as if halfway through a spin. He has a big open-mouthed grin and wears a striped scarf with fringed ends, a cozy sweater and mittens with ribbed cuffs. Snow-covered pine trees and gentle hills frame the frozen pond behind him, and four different snowflakes drift down from above. Curved lines on the ice mark where he has skated. His big hair is good practice for long, flowing strokes, and the scarf stripes are easy for little hands to follow. Purple or hot pink hair against icy blue looks great. - 1Color the hair orange and the face, ears and nose peach, leaving the eye whites and cheek highlight white.
- 2Color the sweater, sleeves and hem red, then fill the mittens leaf green with red cuffs.
- 3Color the scarf with lime green and red stripes, adding olive yellow at the top and the fringe ends.
- 4Color the jeans denim blue and the open mouth and tongue coral pink.
- 5Color the pine trees in pine green and forest green, the snowbanks pale blue, and the skate blades sky blue and slate gray, keeping the snow caps, skate boots and ground snow white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the hair, sweater and jeans to give them more depth.
