Both little hands grip the edge of a large ribbed pumpkin as a troll with tall, flame-like swooping hair peeks over the top. Round eyes, long lashes, a button nose and a wide smile make the face look playful, and the pointed ears stick out on both sides. One oak leaf is tucked into the hair. Two smaller pumpkins rest in the bottom corners among maple and oak leaves and curly vines with spiral tendrils. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the troll's skin, hands, ears and nose: fill the face, both hands and both ears with skin peach, and color the nose bubblegum pink.
- 2Color the hair and the big pumpkin pumpkin orange, leaving the eye shines white.
- 3Fill the small pumpkins on both sides with pumpkin orange and butter yellow, and paint the stems leaf green.
- 4Color the leaves: brick red for the left, bottom and right-side leaves, and golden amber for the leaf in the hair and the right side leaf.
- 5Add the small rose pink petal and light apricot inner ear, then color the vine swirls light gray and cool gray.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker orange shade along the edges of the big pumpkin to make it look rounder.
