Unicorn Portrait with a Flower Crown and Braid
Coloring guide
Kids who like flowers and fine details will enjoy this sweet unicorn face. It has big sparkly eyes with long lashes, a gentle smile and a tall spiral horn between two pointed ears. A crown of blossoms and leaves sits on its head, with small berry sprigs tucked in on both sides. Long flowing hair sweeps over the forehead and into a thick braid tied with a little hair band. Hearts and stars are scattered around the edges. Bright pink and yellow flowers pair nicely with a soft pastel rainbow on the mane and braid, so each wavy strand shows up. Free to print for quiet afternoons at home or a classroom craft table. Love this Unicorns coloring page? You might also enjoy our Skeleton and Vampire coloring pages.

- sky blue
- lavender purple

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the flowing mane and braid: alternate light blue, bubblegum pink, lilac purple and soft yellow in long curving bands, leaving the very bottom of the braid for later.
- 2Fill the large center flower with blush pink petals and add golden yellow in its middle, then color the two smaller flowers with lilac purple on the left and light blue on the right.
- 3Color the horn with golden yellow at the tip and soft yellow stripes along the base, then add the inner parts of the ears in blush pink.
- 4Paint the leaves and small buds around the flowers in emerald green and grass green, and add the braid tie in hot pink.
- 5Color the hearts and stars: rose pink and hot pink hearts, golden yellow stars. Keep the eyes, muzzle and small highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in the braid and mane by pressing harder at the edges of each band to make the stripes look more dimensional.
