Snarling Scar Close-Up, The Lion King Villain

This coloring page is a fierce close-up of Scar from The Lion King. The villainous lion glares sideways with narrowed, slanted eyes and a snarl that shows his sharp teeth. Look for the scar slashed over his left eye, the long curved whiskers, the wrinkled nose and the swept-up tuft of hair on top of his head. His shaggy mane flows down around his neck and shoulders, and puffy scalloped clouds frame the portrait behind him. Bold outlines and large open areas suit school-age kids, and the mane and clouds leave room for older children to add shading. For a dramatic look, go with deep black and dark brown on the mane, tawny gold on the fur and red on the scar. Print this free page for your coloring collection.
