A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tree trunk and roots in bark brown, leaving small white gaps for the knots and bark highlights.
- 2Color the leafy canopy at the top and the grass at the bottom in lime green and bright green, using forest green for the darker shamrock leaves.
- 3Fill the rainbow with red, orange, lemon yellow, and royal blue stripes, then add pale blue to the clouds and sky blue to the stream.
- 4Paint the leprechaun's face in peach and his hat in forest green, leaving the hat brim white. Add the golden yellow roof of the cottage.
- 5Color the pot of gold in charcoal gray with a shamrock in forest green, then fill the treasure chest and coins. Finish the red mushrooms with bright red caps and white dots.
- 6Optional: Add a little dark chocolate shading inside the hollow of the tree to make the treasure look like it is hiding in shadow.
