Speaking Up: Girl Power at the Balloon-Decorated Podium
Coloring guide
Standing behind a wooden podium, a smiling girl with long wavy hair waves with one hand as she speaks into a microphone. She wears a blazer over a collared shirt. The podium is draped with a swag of fabric topped with a rosette and two ribbon tails. Bunting flags hang across the top behind her, balloon bunches float on both sides, and leafy bushes fill the background. Flower bouquets sit at the base of the podium, and along the bottom edge you can see the backs of several audience children's heads, including one with curly hair, a ponytail, a braid, and a bow. It's a lovely free printable for kids who enjoy stories about confidence and speaking up. Bright red or purple on the rosette and ribbon will make the podium stand out, with soft pastel balloons around it. - 3Color the hair in chestnut brown and dark brown, and the blonde hair of the person in front in golden yellow.
- 4Add the balloons in bright red and bright blue, keeping the white highlights and the white balloons clear.
- 5Fill the bushes in leaf green and lime green, the rosette and drape with bright red and bright blue, and the ribbon tails in charcoal gray and dusty rose.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading to the jacket and bushes with a second shade of the same color for depth.
