Speedy Gonzales Spinning a Ball on One Finger, Space Jam
Coloring guide
Speedy Gonzales is in mid-leap with a big basketball balanced on the tip of one finger. He looks up at the ball with a curious, slightly pursed-lip expression, one leg kicked out behind him as he runs and his long tail trailing. He has his classic oversized sombrero, a knotted neckerchief and a loose short-sleeved shirt. The ball's seam lines are bold and simple, good for little hands, while the hat and shirt give older kids bigger areas to practice steady strokes. There's no background, so feel free to add your own court or sky. A bright orange ball with black seams and a sunny yellow sombrero would look nice. Print it free for a quiet, creative moment. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the basketball: color the top yellow panels and the top right red panel, then fill the big lower panels with tangerine orange and the right panel with bright blue.
- 2Fill the left green ball panels and the large sombrero with forest green, leaving the eye whites and the small highlight areas white.
- 3Color the face and ears with pale peach and skin peach, and add the nose and cheek in the same soft tones.
- 4Add the orange hair tufts with tangerine orange, then color the red neckerchief in bright red and the tan neck in golden brown.
- 5Color the green shirt and pants with forest green, and the legs and mouth with chocolate brown.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the sombrero and the basketball lines to make the colors pop.
