Spider and Butterfly Dancing Through a Flower Garden

Coloring guide
Hand in hand, a friendly cartoon spider and a butterfly dance in the middle of this garden scene. The spider has a big round head, wide happy eyes, a small tuft of hair and eight curved legs. The butterfly comes with long curly antennae, a smiling face and large wings full of circles and rounded patterns that are fun to fill in. Daisy-style flowers with textured centers, tall leaves and little tufts of grass surround them, with a spider web in the top corner and a sun with rays overhead. Big wing sections and simple shapes keep it easy for younger kids, while older kids can add their own detail to this free printable. Soft purples and pinks look lovely on the wings, and a yellow sun with orange flower centers makes everything pop. Looking for more? - 2Color the spider's middle body and lower legs charcoal gray, and fill the butterfly's head and upper body with lemon yellow.
- 3Fill the butterfly's body stripes with golden yellow, then color the inner wing panels hot pink and rose pink, leaving the small wing dots white.
- 4Color the outer wing edges deep orange and tangerine, and add the soft peach and apricot touches to the lower wings, leaving the wing dots white.
- 5Add the garden: color the flower petals lavender purple, the web pale blue, and the grass light green and leaf green. Keep the sky, sun and background white.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade along one side of the spider and butterfly to give them a little depth.
