Spotted Puppy Meeting a Snail on a Stump
Coloring guide
A chubby spotted puppy sits in the grass with its head tilted up and a happy open-mouth smile. It has big floppy ears with oval spots, a spotted back and tail, and round paws tucked in front. Across from the puppy, a smiling snail rests on a flat wooden board on top of a tree stump, with a spiral shell and two long eyestalks. A small sign post sticks up behind the snail, and a few tufts of grass sit near the stump. In the upper left, a big sun with pointed rays fills the sky. The lines are thick and the shapes are large, so it works well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try giving the puppy two spot colors and coloring the snail's shell in rainbow rings that follow the spiral. This printable page also makes a nice prompt for asking kids what the puppy and snail might be saying to each other.
