Sprinkly Ice Cream Cone Cake with Dripping Icing
Coloring guide
In the middle of this round layer cake sits a smiling ice cream cone with rosy cheeks and a cherry on top, flanked by two striped wafer rolls. A sprinkle-covered scoop with wavy melted edges rests on each side, and small frosting swirls peek out around the top. Thick icing drips down the side, and a row of round beads circles the bottom edge. Loose sprinkles are scattered over the cake top and the ground. The big open shapes are easy for small hands, while the sprinkles and the waffle cone grid give older kids detail to work on. A bright red cherry, pastel pink drips and a golden-brown cone would look great. Print it free for classroom time or a rainy day. Love this Cake coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large cake body and the lower halves of both side scoops with vanilla cream, leaving the white whipped cream dollops untouched.
- 2Color the chocolate icing on top of the cake and its drips with chocolate brown.
- 3Fill the left lower scoop with butter yellow and the right upper scoop with sky blue, then color the ice cream head, the pink drip under it, and the cake's bottom beads with bubblegum pink.
- 4Color the wafer sticks and the waffle cone with light caramel, then add toffee brown stripes on the wafer sticks.
- 5Color the cherry cherry red, keeping the whipped cream swirls and the small white dollop white. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the scoops and cake for depth.
