Stag With Sweeping Antlers Lowering Its Head

Coloring guide

A single stag stands in side view facing right, its head bent low toward the ground as if sniffing or about to graze. Large antlers sweep up and back from its head, with several long curved tines and a few forked branches. The drawing shows a pointed ear, an almond-shaped eye, a small nose, and light whisker marks near the muzzle. The body is drawn with clean outlines, and a few short dashed strokes on the shoulder and flank hint at fur texture. Four slim legs end in small dark hooves. There is no background, so the animal is easy to focus on. Try coloring the coat in layers of tan and warm brown, then leave the antlers a lighter shade so the many branches stand out. It also works well for counting the antler points together.
