Standing Rooster With Large Curved Tail Feathers

Coloring guide
A single rooster stands in side view, facing right, with its head turned slightly and its small beak pointing out. The tail is the biggest part of the drawing. It sweeps up and back in a tall curve made of long, layered feathers, and a few shorter pointed feathers hang down near the back of the body. The wing is outlined on the side with rows of overlapping feather shapes. The chest is covered in short dashed marks, and a small comb sits on top of the head. Two thin legs end in long toes with pointed claws. The lines are clean and the feather sections are a good size for crayons. Try coloring each tail feather a different shade, like reds, oranges, and browns, then use the printable page to talk about how roosters look different from hens.
