Standing Unicorn with Long Spiral Horn and Beard

Coloring guide
A single unicorn stands in side view, turned slightly toward the left, with a very long spiral horn pointing up and out past the edge of the page. The head has a small pointed ear, a calm eye, and a thin wispy beard under the chin. A jagged, flame-like mane falls along the neck, and a twisted tuft of hair ends the tail at the back. All four legs are drawn with small hooves, and the body is left open with no background, so there is plenty of room to color. Kids could try a pearly gradient on the spiral horn, using the twist lines as a guide for alternating stripes. The bold outlines are easy to follow for younger children, and the mane gives older kids a chance to practice shading in small sections. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on mythical animals.
