Tabby Kitten Skateboarding on a Seaside Pier
Coloring guide
Wearing a round safety helmet, a smiling tabby kitten crouches on a skateboard, ready to roll along a wooden boardwalk pier. Its striped tail curls up behind it, and a little buckled collar circles its neck. Past the wooden railing, wavy water reaches out to a sailboat on the left and a lighthouse with a small house on a rocky shore on the right. Three seagulls glide across the sky above. Bold outlines and open spaces make this free printable easy for younger kids, while the tiger stripes, wheels and water ripples keep older children busy with detail. Orange and brown stripes, a red helmet and a blue-green sea will help the little skater stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sea areas: color the ocean behind the pier in sky blue, leaving the little wave lines and the sailboat sail white.
- 2Fill the wooden pier floor and railings with warm brown, then color the skateboard deck and the wheels in bright blue and bright red.
- 3Color the kitten's fur in golden orange, adding light orange on the cheeks and bright orange on the face stripes and tail, and leave the eye whites, nose area and cream paw as they are.
- 4Paint the helmet in sky blue with light gray for the trucks, then add rose pink inside the ears and on the mouth corners.
- 5Add the lighthouse with red bands, cream white stripes, a forest green base and a bright yellow lamp, and finish the gray rock and cream house.
- 6Optional: Add a few peach stripes on the cat body and a little light gray shading on the trucks to make the drawing pop.
